Copley Welcomes Leah HollenbergerContact: Leah Hollenberger, 888-830103/03/2008

Copley officials announced Monday that Morrisville resident Leah Hollenberger has joined the Copley family as Senior Director of Development, Marketing and Public Relations. “Leah is full of energy and brings a wealth of experience to Copley. We are very pleased she accepted the position and look forward to having her on our team,” states Melvyn Patashnick, President and CEO.
Patashnick noted that in addition to marketing and public relations, Hollenberger will also be focusing on development and fundraising. “Over the next few years, we will focus on a building campaign and Leah’s role will be critical. In addition to creating campaigns and programs that will generate contributions and support, she will be concentrating on furthering Copley’s community involvement.”
Hollenberger brings to Copley more than 20 years of experience working for non-profit and commercial organizations. Her work has primarily centered around on-air, print and on-line strategic marketing communications as well as community outreach. Previously, she worked with Vermont Public Radio as a Producer, handling media relations and marketing communications. At VPR, Hollenberger was the station liaison to media and community, produced special programs and on-air announcements, as well as supervised on-air fundraising that generated more than $1.5 million dollars annually. Noteworthy accomplishments included managing the recent redesign of VPR’s website, producing “Camel’s Hump Radio” and several ongoing community programming collaborations.
Prior to Vermont, Hollenberger worked with WGBH Educational Foundation in Boston. She joined WGBH as Associate Director of Radio Press Relations and was promoted to Director of Media Relations. While at WGBH she was responsible for coordinating local marketing, publicity and community outreach. Prior to WGBH, Hollenberger was the Public Relations Director for WFTX-Fox 25 in Boston for 8 years, handling publicity and public affairs. During her tenure the station was recognized with the National Gabriel Award for “Station of the Year.”
