How to Help - ChaplaincyChaplaincy
In 1999, the Copley Hospital Foundation raised funds to begin the Copley Chaplaincy program. According to Health Progress, March, 1990:
“Clinically-based research has yielded significant information showing that patients who experience high-quality care have less pain and shorter hospital stays than those who do not receive pastoral care.”
Having Chaplain Alden Launer on-site, with his specific chaplain training, provides support to patients and families while the doctors and nurses focus on clinical needs.
To support Copley's Chaplaincy with a donation or bequest, please go to make a donation or contact Jill Baker at 802-888-8302 or jbaker@chsi.org.
